Laura van de Woord (violin)

Laura van de Woord studied violin with Kati Sebestyen at the Conservatory of Brabant (Academy of Arts, Fontys) and obtained her diploma in 2000. During her studies she followed several chamber music masterclasses; The Storioni Trio, Alexander Hrisanide and others. She participated in chamber music courses in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain and Austria. After her studies, she was trained by Andras Czifra on violin and on the viola by Ervin Schiffer. She played in several ensembles in different countries. Laura gave masterclasses in America. She was a teacher at the State music school in Dordrecht and surrounding areas (ToBe) in the Netherlands. Now she teaches in Portugal. Since 2002 she has formed a duo with Jeroen Hobbel, Duo Corcova and since 2023 she has played in the Cappuccino Ensemble.

Maia Kouznetsova (viola)

Maia Kouznetsova was born in Russia. She began studying violin at the age of 5 and later continued her musical studies on the viola. She graduated with honors from the Moscow State Conservatory. She worked in the Moscow State Philharmonic orchestra. She has played in the most prestigious concert halls in the world, such as Carnegie Hall, Fisher hall, Suntory Hall, Barbican Centre, Concertgebouw, among others. Since 1997, she worked for 27 years at the Gulbenkian Foundation Orchestra. She taught viola at the Conservatório Metropolitano de Lisboa and at the Instituto Piaget de Almada.

Jeroen Hobbel (guitar)

Jeroen Hobbel, a guitarist from the Netherlands, finished his studies in 2000 classical guitar with Dick Hoogeveen at the Conservatory of Rotterdam (Codarts). He followed masterclasses with John Mills and Dick Visser. After that, he studied "Argentinian Tango" with great enthusiasm also at the Conservatory of Rotterdam. Jeroen has been a soloist with different orchestras in the Netherlands and he has given concerts with many ensembles in Europe. He was a teacher at the state music school in Dordrecht and surrounding areas (ToBe) in the Netherlands. Now he teaches in Portugal. Since 2002 he has formed a duo with Laura van de Woord, Duo Corcova. He also plays in the Cappuccino Ensemble.
